Shortly before New Year’s Eve 2022, I felt the urge to wish everybody a happy new year with a nice piece of music. The old Scottish song “Auld Lang Syne” is traditionally played on New Year’s Eve to remember times gone by. I decided to make my own piano arrangement, and paraphrase that ancient melody.
